It is characterized by versatile usability. It is well suited for horticultural and animal health purposes (e.g. against external parasites) and for applying insecticidal powders during pest control (e.g. wasp extermination, flea and cockroach extermination in the basement, outdoor ant extermination). High operating pressure ensures long range and efficiency. Its Birchmeier TLK 35 battery-powered air compressor takes the burden of tiring manual pumping off our shoulders. The compressor pressure is adjustable and automatically switches off after reaching the set pressure. The current pressure can be continuously monitored using a digital display (see video!). If necessary, it can be connected to an external air compressor using the air compressor valve. The compressor can even be replaced with a hand pump, so the device can be converted into a Birchmeier DR 5 hand-held duster. Filling of the different types of powders into the tank of DR 5 can be managed with help of Birchmeier funnel very easily.
